Boiled wool is geschikt voor jassen en mantels, poncho's, kostuum of voor interieuraccessoires. Deze stof is aan beide kanten bruikbaar en heeft een licht viltachtige structuur. De snijkanten rafelen niet, daardoor is de boiled wool makkelijk te verwerken. Ze noemen deze stof ook wel: gekookte wol, walkloden en/of wolvilt.
